Single Torpedo Tube

Single Tube
This is the single torpedo version of the Keystone Action Submarine Model #217 . It measures 14″ x 3″ with the torpedo being five inches long. The torpedo is self propelled by a rubber band and could be used to try and sink the included target ship. This is the rarest of the #217 Action Submarines because it was only produced for one year. It was introduced in the 1940-41 catalog and was replaced by the two torpedo submarine in the 1941-42 catalog. This submarine was a blue ribbon winner at the 1940 N.Y. Toy Fair for being “one of the most possible best sellers for 1940”.
