This is a 10″ x 3″ fire boat that actually sprays water. You will the reservoir with water, depress the pump handle and water shoots out of the hose. Not sure of a date on this example. A similar #983 appears in the early 1950’s catalogs. I think this is earlier, i.e. late 1940’s.
