This firehouse is the largest that Keystone made. The base measures 9.5″ by 16″. There is a lot of action on this set. The right side has a crank for a siren and a crank that will open all three doors at once. The water hydrant can be filled with water then the hose truck is hooked up to the hydrant. You can then pump water into the truck. Finally, when you get to the fire you can spray actual water. These sets are circa 1950. This one is a later one as the car is made by Thomas Toys. Keystone contracted out the production of their cars for the playsets and ferry boats in the mid 1950’s.
