B-15 U.S. Battleship

This is a B-15 U.S. Battleship that measures 15.5″ x 4″.  I have not assigned a model number to this one yet because it does not appear in any of the catalogs through 1943.  It was made later as it is entirely wood.  The ability to shoot projectiles is now gone as the cannon barrels are solid wood.  The rationing of metals for the war effort became more severe each year.  By 1950 all of the military ships were gone from production.

From my private collection.

  1. Hi. I just ran across a B-15 battleship/PT boat which has a hole on the roof behind the torpedo launchers. do you know or have an image of what kind of mast went in there?
I found this image, it has a hole in the roof too. Thanks, – rich
