This Rocket ship measures 14″ x 3.5″. It appears in the 1954 catalog. The catalog states that it has an “improved radar sighting screen” so it would appear that 1954 was the first year of production for this style. To aim you look down through the radar screen, that has an angled mirror, and turn the entire upper deck to locate the target ships. This is the only military ship that I have seen that does not have a designation on the side of the hull.
